A nice introduction. I appreciate the clear presentation of the importance of parents in education from the Church’s perspective. This lays the ground work for the what a Catholic ought to do. I look forward to your thoughts of what and how is required for a Catholic education.

Being part of Christendom College, you certainly welcome the homeschool students. But from this article it seems you are making any school seem not worthy. We will always have parents who want to “drop off” their children.

Are you aware of Institute for Catholic Liberal Education? Their most local success story is Christ the King parish school in Milwaukee, Oregon. When pastor, principal, families and community are united, it is a beautiful thing.
